Yeap so this is my first time joining this kind of event.

And it's in the Singapore Indoor Stadium! Come on la, how many chance you get to step into the singapore indoor stadium? for FREE!

That's the main reason why i choose to go.

And it's been a whole week in campus, i need to go out and jalan-jalan abit.

Though being a friday, but the stadium was packed. You can see teenage girls wearing their pinafore coming straight from school for the event.

It started off with planet shakers. Driving the stadium insane. Ok i'm exaggerating. Hehe. But can see people jumping. No i did not jump. Too awkward to follow what they doing. People lifting their hands. Speaking in tongues, quite mild but nothing against that :)

Then comes Don Moen. Hmm, never heard of him before. But some of the songs he sang while playing the piano were familiar so can sing along.

Overall, it was a pretty good night, enjoying music (very chun drummer), songs and experience. woots.

Didn't eat dinner so after the event went to supper house near my residence to have dipper. dinner+supper=diPPER. Had half a waffle and shared fries. VERY heavy supper. Feeling the fats oozing out now.

Tmr 9am have to gather to go to the science centre. I SHOULD SLEEP NOW. Tata.

P.S: Aliza's wedding is tomorrow! How i wish i can attend.

I can't believe i tried this today.

I must say..... i doubt if i'll go for that sport again. Haha.
But it was a good experience anyway. Having 0 experience of that sport, at least now i can say i tried kayaking before. Though most of the time i was paddling around in circles. LOL.
Anyway, if it's not because of ruth, i won't go for the try out.
Just whatever la, TRY OUT ma. Just go play la.
It starts around 10 sth, after some time, the wonderful sun starts to shineeee.
Totally forgot about sunblock. And now i'm terribly tanned. As if the day to sentosa had not tanned me enough.
Somehow i got 'seasick', or maybe i didn't drink enough water or maybe i didn't take enough for breakfast. Maybe the sun? So for the second half session, got a little dizzy, so didn't get to enjoy much after that.

Yeap, right now bidding is still in process. Trying to take it easy. And thanks to my band 1 results, i need to bid for basic english classes. And guess what, only 2 slots available and my timetable only fits in 1! Joker. There's only 11 vacancy for that class. JOKER. I got a feeling i have to throw all the points into that to get a place. Wait, even i throw all my points, there's still no guarantee that i can secure the place until the results come out. But what to do, take it easy lor. Sure got way wan la!

So current mood status : Still smiley smiley. But dunno can last for how long. haha :)

Pre-semester stress

Alright, some quick updates about these few days. First, the freshmen orientation for freshmen by the malaysia student league ended on sunday. This week the hot topic for everyone is BIDDING. Seriously this thing is bugging me for many days already. Imagine for every semester i have to go through this. faint. The thing i'm worried about now is which electives to bid for. Core modules should not be a problem, cuz they already tell you what to take up. But for electives, it's our own choice. I'm suppose to take 5modules, 3 core modules and 2 electives.

Basically there're 3 types of electives la. General Education Module, Singapore Studies and Breadth (Modules outside your major). For this semester i guess i'll take up GEM and breadth first. But sometimes will feel quite insecure la. Alot of "What if..." will pop up. What if i can't cope with it. What if i do badly. What if it is the wrong choice. blablabla. And the list goes on. And being a very indesicive person, you can imagine what dilemma i'm facing now. There're still alot of modules i have to run through. I HOPE THIS ENDS SOON!

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Why.

Went to the matric fair today. For the third time. First was on friday, second time yesterday and today the third time. It's something like Hari Gerko la. Got a whole lot of leaflets. And i haven't sought it out yet. Most probably 70-90% of it will end up in the rubbish bin. Signed up for dunno how many club and society. But in the end, maybe not going for all of that. Got some freebies la. The whole point of matric fair. Haha.

And QET results going to be out tomorrow. Cries.

Wondered how's things over back there in malaysia. Bubu, mr and mrs boss, momo, davis/daisy.

Sometimes i wake up, i can't believe the fact that i'm here in singapore. Everything is still so surreal. Cuz was quite occupied before that so the feeling only kicks in occasionally, mostly when i'm in my own room. It's not like i'm here for a vacation and i'll head home after that. I'm talking about yearsssss here.

Hi again. Finally got a few hours free to online and do my own stuff. Later 5pm got there's this senior who wants to give us talk/advice so have to go for it. Last night was having the briefing about bidding by seniors. Somehow not very complicated but i still find it very complicated. Sakai la the bidding. Can't u just give me a ready made timetable. My brain is too simple to take in all these stuff. So normally people take 5modules per semester. I think for food science, there'll be 3 core modules, so have to decide another 2modules which to take. 走一步算一步咯for now.

Ok btw, this is my room. Quite small la. Everytime i come back i just throw everything on the table so it's very messy. I visited one the room of hall, the size of the table is double of mine! L shape wan. Haihhh. I must find one day to clear abit my table.

@food republic in vivo city. Everytime we went out, meals are always settled in food court. Maybe food there are the cheapest. This was during the night we went for movie- inception. My goodness, 2 and a half hours!! Guess i'm not the right person to appreciate the movie. My simple brain can't take that. I finally understand what it means to eat outside food until jelak! No wonder my 'brother' said:"都是住家饭好吃。" LOL.

TOP: The campus shuttle bus.

BOTTOM: Taken from the business school canteen. Went there for lunch. Had the WORST beef noodles. terrible. like eating noodles with plain water.

Went cycling at east coast park on tuesday. Yeap luckily got double seated. Paired up with verene. At first was quite unstable but after that got used to it already. 4dollars per person for 1hour plus like that. Cycled to somewhere near the airport, can see planes taking off from there. And cycled out the jetty, people fishing there.

Greetings from the merlion

Yes, finally some time to fill up my newly created blog. This blog is just to update people in malaysia whatever i'm doing in singapore. Yup so this is my ninth day here. Things are good, i'm still surviving. For the past one week was totally busy. Seniors had the one week packed for us, which is a good thing, keeping us occupied.

The journey to singapore started off quite stressful la actually.
12th july:
1. Left home late-reach airport late-check in late-STRESS
2. Dad went to park his car while i went to check in first. But then i tried to call him-no line. Wonderful Digi. I was queeing up while ganjiong-ing how on earth am i going to look for dad. BUT thank goodness i manage to spot him. 人海茫茫当中. -STRESS
3. Finally board the plane. One hour past, and when it's supposed to be the time i land in singapore, I'M STILL STUCK IN THE MALAYSIA AIRPORT! Somehow the engine got problem and so we change to another plane. First time ever doing this kind of silly stuff. 凡事都要有第一次. Sigh. - STRESS

Anyway, enough of stress part. So basically what i did for the past one week was admin stuff-campus tour-city tour-sentosa-and more and more city tour. It's really too much to tell so i just edit a few pics and try to put it short :)

BOTTOM: L-R>>Wai Kuan, Me, Sher Lyn. Right- This is where we had our dinner in sentosa. Yes, imagine 6 OGs sitting at the sentosa bus terminal, eating tapao punya subway. My first subway.. hmm. Later on we headed to watch 'Songs of the Sea'. In short it's some laser laser thing, fire shooting up unexpectedly, and water sprinkling on your face. haha terrible description. Didn't really take any pics at night cuz the quality was quite bad.

TOP: L-R>> Verene, Wai Kuan, Me. I normally hang out with both of them in my OG la. Which ended up i didn't socialise with other people. haha. Always cock and bull with Verene. Whenever she's around, my 'laugh quota' for the day will always finish up. Most of time it's the two of us laughing and i think other people don't get us anyway. I find i have many similarities with her, hence easier to click la. People asean scholar ler.

Well, for today went to bugis street. Bought a backpack/schoolbag. The place is almost like sungai wang. Tangan already gatal want to shop. But i resist! Save it for next time.

It's 2.25am. I should get used to this lifestyle.
