First thing first, been lazy to snap pictures lately. The camera is always lying around in my room. So what to do, have to steal pictures from the internet. For the past few days was sleeping quite late, so was kind of sleep deprived. Maybe for someone else my sleeping hours might be more than enough, but for me being someone who loves to sleep, sleeping hours seem not be enough. BUT, it's good to get a start to this lifestyle, i can foresee my sleeping hours getting lesser when classes start.
No pictures very hard to blog. My writing so char, if no pictures the post will turn out long-winded. For my modules, finally it's coming to an end. But don't so happy first, later on there's still the tutorial balloting. Like momo said, get to used to it then can liao la. Trying not to stress too much about it also. So this term i'll be taking 3core modules, basic english (free english classes, how good!), japanese as my breadth (can talk to takuya kimura next time. Lol) and 1 more elective. The one i chose for the previous round, i got outbidded. So now opting for another one, e-commerce. If everything go smooth sailing, and i DON'T get outbid again, these are the 6modules i'll be taking.
*edit* i got e-commerce already.
Oh i just realised i have a few pictures during the freshman inauguration ceremony. That was on monday. Snapped before the ceremony.
Grandnyaaa.
Then tuesday it was flagging.
FLAGGING is something quite common in singapore, from what i heard. Means, u hit the streets in singapore asking the public for donations. All faculties and halls actually have their own flag team. But i didn't join the science faculty orientation, so in the end i flagged for king edward7 (one of the halls). Being a non-haller, helping to flag for hall is kinda awkward la.
KE7:"You helping us to FLAG??"
Me:"Erm, haha yea..?"
KE7:"Oh, u're from PGP??"
Me:"Erm, haha yea..?"
They probably think i'm out of my mind, having nothing better to do. Actually it was ruth who wanted to join, so i just tagged along. KE7 is the nearest hall from PGP, so any PGP-ians who wants to join they send us to KE7 (which was only 3 people from PGP). wai kuan and verene pulled out last minute. hmph. haha. Slept at 12sth, woke up at 4am. Walked my way to KE7. Boarded the bus, mrt, waited at mcd. 7am, flagging starts! me and my partners were placed in orchard. Things in the morning was quite good actually. Managed to filled my first can before lunch.
But after lunch, the not-enough-sleep weariness comes in, so started to slack. And also most of the people already donated, so it's hard to get business. Since business was sloooow, me and my partner decided to head to bugis. Stayed there til 7, at least managed to filled half of my second can.
Actually there's this competition between halls to see who got the highest donation. So u can see flaggers from other halls/faculties on the same street, so have to pandai-pandai choose some spots that are clear from other flaggers. So in short, flagging IS TIRING. Sometimes while i flag, i'll think, WHAT AM I DOING HERE? But then, it's for charity, so at least i'm not doing for nothing.
Recharging my lost energy. Next week classes start! 既期待又害怕受伤害。ahaha.
